Vietnam's Pepper

Vietnam has been the world leader in pepper production and export for more than 20 years.

Vietnamese pepper and spices are currently exported to more than 125 countries, ranking third in global spice exports and dominating many important markets.

Currently, our country has 6 key pepper producing provinces including: Binh Phuoc, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Gia Lai. Among them, the Central Highlands and the Southeast region rank first in terms of area, productivity and output. In addition, there are other pepper growing regions such as Phu Quoc (Kien Giang) which has a long-standing brand and other pepper growing regions such as Lam Dong, Binh Thuan.... Pepper is grown from Nghe An to the South , a total of 18 provinces have pepper growing areas.

We went directly to the key pepper growing area, also the largest area in the country, in the Central Highlands.

Here, in addition to meeting local farmers and traders, to understand the pepper trade situation, as well as product quality and year-round harvest.

We also inspected many pepper processing factories, checked production lines, packaging, and food hygiene and safety..

All are to best optimise pepper products to fully meet export requirements to the international market.
